Matthew Levin graduated with honors from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a double major in Graphic Design and Illustration and a minor in Art History. He then moved to San Francisco to work as a designer for McKenzie & Associates. At this agency he tackled projects for Ernst & Young, the Pro Golf Association, City of Hope, Cap Gemini, Levi Strauss and Carpenter Moore.

From there, he started Limelight Disc & Design, a CD manufacturing and design brokerage firm. As this company grew, servicing independent musicians and record companies, he worked as an independent contractor for Fusion DM, Swirl and Hub Strategy. As a designer and production artist, Matt produced a wide variety of print and web campaigns for Hewlett Packard, Veltec, SIDI, Vredestein, Ciclosport, Easton, Look, 511.org, Brio, Heald College, San Francisco Magazine, Lombardi Sports, eBay, Camp eBay and eBay Motors.

In May of 2004, Matt and his wife April moved to Asheville to start a family. Henry Thomas Levin was born on January 4, 2005.
